Cartridge heater with elbow is cylindrical electrical heating elements. Protected with a stainless steel sheath, their watt density can reach 25 w/cm² and their operating temperature can go up to 800°C (1472°F)
Mostly cartridge heater is used for heating up solids such as injection presses heating plates or various tools, cartridge heater can also be used for heating up water of gases under certain conditions. Widely used for manufacturing plastic and rubber parts in the car industry or in the food processing industry, etc . cartridge heaters are also commonly found in the chemical, electronics, medical equipment, packing and nuclear industries
Various cartridge heater technologies are available. The choice of technology will depend on technical specifications required and the application. Unless you know exactly which product you are looking for, we will recommend you the best solution for your needs.
Different type of cartridge heater with different applications:
1) Cartridge Heaters for-Extrusion Dies, Liquid Immersion
2) Metric Heaters for-Plastic Molds and Injection Molding
3) Insertion Heaters for-Plastics Extrusion
4) Custom Cartridge Heaters for-Packaging Machinery, Labeling and Sealing
5) Square and Round Cartridge Heaters for-Hot Plates and Platens, Hot Stamping
6) Cartridge Heaters for-Hot Runner Molds, Various Types of Dies
7) Insertion Heaters for- Medical Equipment and Other Industrial Applications
Construction
The cartridge heater may be divided in 7 main parts:
1) Heating Coil
2) Insulation
3) Sheath
4) Sealing
5) Termination
6) Lead Wire Type
6) Watt Density
Lead type
1. Sheath Material : Selection of German imports of high temperature precision stainless steel tube,Wall thickness uniform, fine workmanship, good physical properties.
2. Resistance wire: US imports of nickel-chromium alloy heating wire,High elongation, accurate resistivity, good physical properties.
3. MgO stick: 99.9% high purity magnesium oxide stick, good verticality, small tolerance
4. MgO: 99.9% pure magnesium powder, high purity, good particle size ratio, resistant to 1200 degrees
5. Lead: High temperature pure nickel glass wire, resistivity, high conductivity, resistance to high temperature of 800 degrees.
