
Cartridge Heaters are able to withstand tough industrial usage due to their special construction.
The heaters can achieve a watt density up to 200W/in2.
The nickel chrome heat wires are wound onto a ceramic core which is positioned inside the cylindrical metal sheath.
The heating coils are evenly spaced on the ceramic core to provide a uniform heat transfer to the sheath surface.
The power is controlled by the number of the heat coils.
The magnesium oxide powder are used as the insulating medium to avoid a short circuit.
The metal sheath is filled with the MgO powder.
The MgO powder is highly compacted through a special cold form process.
It makes the MgO powder very efficient to transfer heat inside the metal sheath.

There are many lead options available, including Glass Fibre Leads, Silicon Rubber Leads, PTFE Leads, Ceramic Beaded Leads, Braided Leads and Conduits.
